San Sebastian is a Spanish city located in the north of the country on the coast of the Bay of Biscay. It is 20 km (12.5 miles) from the French border, and is the capital of Gipuzkoa, in the Basque Country. Though the city’s population is relatively small, at just over 185,000 inhabitants, it continues to be one of the most-visited cities in Spain. Another popular tourist draw is the high concentration of Michelin-starred restaurants in and around the city.
